Just wondering if anyone has been to their grand opening this weekend in Christchurch, and what the deals were like? (I live a fair way out of Christchurch so I haven't been myself)

This is the web based promotion I was send for the sale.
I assume you will be able to view it.

Yes popped in earlier today even tho it has been open for around a month anyway with a "soft" launch I left empty handed and I have a keen eye for a bargain.

I would think that all the deals would be gone within the first minute these days

We got there at just after 8am this morning. Place was busy and car park practically full. Went past about an hour later and car park was full with cars parked all over the place. This afternoon it was even worse. Looks like they will be doing a roaring trade. Glad we went early.

Daughter bought an ASUS laptop for school and uni next year. They had 7 this morning and now only have the demo one left. Has a 240GB SSD and boots up in less than 10 seconds. Makes the laptops I use at work look like slugs!
