Two fun things for our store from now until the 21st:

1) Facebook giveaway competition We are giving away a seven inch 2 ghz mediatek octocore & 3G tablet + a whole bundle of goodies to go with it

2) Coupon code: BUNDLE09 - We are giving anyone who uses this code 8% of everything in store till the 21st of September. Which given our margins are paper thin, is pretty darn good.

General update: I hope to make a new stock order for a bunch more tablets, including a hybrid and some high spec tablets, but it probably will not happen till after the sale, unless things fly out really quick.

You should mention what your intentions are with the email collection part(ie solely to contact a winner or if they will receive marketing emails).

Also don't discount the people with mainly comp stuff on their profiles, they are going to be the ones who bring you decent numbers over the coming days. The overwhelming majority if not all who like the page have that intent anyway. It's then on you to convert that into sales.

Theres a small portion that have competition profiles separate from personal and multiple accounts for competitions. They thusly have few FB friends. So their shares don't really achieve much in terms of exposure. I don't mind if someone enters a lot of comps but that cheaty behaviour doesn't help me in terms of shares and its unfair to those who do it honestly. That's just to encourage people to use their actual FB profile. They'll probably try anyway. Its a funny thing running a facebook give away :P Lots of tactics. But who ever gets it should enjoy it.

I don't intend to use the emails for anything but contact. I should mention that you are right.
