Amazon Prime membership discounted to US$67 Friday 25 September 7pm through Saturday 26 September 7pm (NZ time).

Note it says on the page it's only for the first year of the membership, not renewals.

I wonder if gifting will work.... It did last time they did this.

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

What does Amazon prime membership provide for kiwis? My google-fu has been sub par in finding out what you can rightfully use with it.

Without a geo unblocker it seems only the music stuff works. None of the video services.

Gets faster shipping to your US reshipper, gets you free shipping on gifts to people in the US, but watch the sales tax on that one.

For NZ? Nothing. With an unblocker service you have access to Amazon Instant Video, which carries some titles not available on the other services. Also movies come in fast (to buy) then after a few weeks move into rent and after a few months some even go free.

Also fast shipping within the USA - to YouShop ;)
