I just tried to order one at $159, all good until checkout confirmation, shot up to $3999.

It was ugly anyway  :P

All the prices have gone up to real values from sale. Hoping they would honor the sale prices :)

Me, I'm just waiting for the outraged posts of people claiming that Harvey Norman entered into a contract for the lower prices and should be compelled by the full force of the law, the principle of "the customer is always right" and common decency to deliver the obviously mispriced goods, preferably with a chocolate cake and bottle of wine to apologise for the grave concern caused by having to wonder if the order would actually be fulfilled.

Cheers _ N

Hahaha so true!

In the terms and conditions they say errors can occur, so they're under no obligation to honour these prices.

That has to be a pretty obvious error. Although you can buy second hand sofas for around that price when people want to get rid of it. There are however errors that stores make that don't appear to be obvious errors, especially if they are advertising huge one in a lifetime sales., But I don't know why people would try ordering this because it is obviously an error and these Australian stores wi'll likely not honour an error they have made.
