Once there was an elephant,
Who tried to use the telephant—
No! No! I mean an elephone
Who tried to use the telephone—
(Dear me! I am not certain quite
That even now I’ve got it right.)
Howe’er it was, he got his trunk
Entangled in the telephunk;
The more he tried to get it free,
The louder buzzed the telephee—
(I fear I’d better drop the song
Of elephop and telephong!)

I wouldn't recommend Elephone. I had a P7000 and had issues with the screen. Sent it back and they tried to charge me for the repairs.

Will pop them right now, sir...

But, seriously, this poem's the first thing that springs to mind when I read the brand 'Elephone'.

And, more on topic, has anyone used this phone? Does it support all NZ bands? I'm on the lookout for a new good-value phone (for my wife), after my hopes were dashed when I found out the Voda Smart Ultra wasn't compatible with Spark and the new Moto G will be a bit pricey...

I dont think this is Spark friendly either sorry, neither 3G or LTE bands are compatible.

Edit, It does 1800 and 2600 on LTE which Spark uses in main centres, but no 3G as far as I can tell

Acutually it's Spark friendly in 4G and 3G, by checking online, i found its spec on official site:

2G: GSM 850/900/1800MHz
3G: WCDMA 900/2100MHz
4G: LTE 800/1800/2600MHz

So absolutely we could use it freely here.
