PocketSmith for budgeting and personal finance management. A great Kiwi company.
Dynamic: Will be interested to have a quick look, but of course 'cost' can be interpreted many ways.... supplier direct supply cost, cost after rebates, supply+wages+rent cost... there is always a way to fiddle it.
trig42: Ooh, I need to get a UE Boom 2 for someone for xmas. From past sales, things like this are usually well discounted in these sales (accessories, headphones as well).
Also, note that this says cost. The NL/HN deals (like the 'Thank you to police fire teachers etc. HN deal) are usually cost +5 or cost +10 (then add GST). they will all work out cost about the same I'd think - ie., the average invoiced cost, excluding rebates.
trig42: Yeah, boxing day will have some awesome deals, but these are usually leaders (loss leaders you'd assume at some of those prices). All good if that is the item you want, but for everyday, high-margin items, like BT speakers, headphones, accessories, ink cartridges etc., then these 'cost' + GST sales are pretty good.

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?
floydbloke: Man, these guys blow hot and cold.
Few weeks ago they did me (and others) a great deal on QC25. Today I go in to price up a Sony SEL55210 lens. The bloke scans it and says "$649". I reply: "That's not cost + GST, that's retail". He points to a sign and says it applies to cameras, and not lenses. Pfffft.

Fair call I guess, he was playing by the rules. Going by my previous experience I was expecting he might at least offer some sort of a deal. Just a little frustrated with the inconsistency I get from this mob. (Also thinking back to the on-line 'cheap' tablet fiasco a few months back.)
