That is a good price considering I got mine late last year at just over cost(?) (as in what a reseller gets it for) and it was quite a bit more than that price. I'd still get it today after having it for a while, and at that price even more so! Maybe its an indicator these models aren't selling.

I've got one, got it for $1874 several months ago, I have pretty high expectations about picture quality and functionality that it doesn't quite live up to for the price point (heaps of clouding and backlight bleed).  I  need to return it for a refund.  For $1385 I think it's a great deal if you don't care heaps about picture quality (Though how many good picture quality TV's will be at that price point) and usb recording.  I do though.

4k does not guarantee great picture quality.

its very average at best.
