As per the Dick Smith thread, this is only for posting any bargains during the closing down period.

MF - you should have created the thread as "Dick Smith closing down sales discounts - NOT!".  Case in point - I was in their Sylvia Park store yesterday and looked at a toasted sandwich maker.  Was marked at $99.  Asked what the sale price was, was told its $79.  Left and went to Farmers where it was $59, so I bought it there.

I don't see many, if any, real discounts appearing here.

As the discounts appear then people can post here - better than people creating lots of different topics. Now, would you folks get out of the thread if it's not posting actual discounts?

They have Sony PS4 controllers for $80 at the moment, they are usually closer to $100 when I've seen them ($109 is the normal retail at The Warehouse, for example), so is a reasonable price. I wouldn't say it's super clearance, but ya save $20 over most other places.

Any feedback on the quality of these? Are the joins between the cable and the connector good?

Kindle paperwhite 3 (300 dpi) for $175.20 - best price I've seen and not many left.

I have found them average at best - as if they came from dx.com

They work but don't last - but then you can buy 3 for the price of 1 apple one...

I checked the detailing of the plugs and it seems identical to the apple cable , same size/joins/plug.  I couldn't tell the difference even with a magnifying glass .

Catalog number is CN2295 , but can't see this on their website. They had a whole bucket of these next to the sales counter.

That's a great price. Where did you get them? Yesterday Bose was only 10% off

They are advertised at 10% off, but when I saw the individual prices, it was more than that! So it depends on the product. I am waiting of the Bose Soundlink Mini ii to come down lower before i buy that.

I saw it at Manukau store and Sylvia park as well
