Saw this in my news feed this morning.

Looks like it the international version covering most of nz range

http://www.ebay.com/itm/351680366077

Shipping is done by the ebay global shipping and it does not look like it's charging import fees on the device.

Only if it keeps on working. If not then it looks very silly.

Unfortunately looks to be missing 28/700, not so useful in the "city of the future"

However i remember talk around here that it only covered either vodafone/2degrees or sparks side of the band and not the whole band 28/700

Still has band 3 however

$450 is also over the gst threshold so you're looking at another $116 tax.

My maths isn't always great, but I don't see how 15% gst on 450 equates to 116

Even if you get hit by the tax it's still not a bad deal

However it is being done by the ebays global shipping program thing which should be doing the tax for the import, it however says the following at checkout

Import charges  No additional import charges at delivery.

So who knows, you might get hit you might not.
