Office 365 5 User 1 year sub is $89 at Heathcotes at the mo. Pretty good to me. (Plus $6.50 for me p&p).

Can this be used to renew an existing Office 365 home premium subscription for 1 year?
Or only for new subscriptions?

Not completely sure, but pretty certain I've seen on other threads that it can be used for renewals, so if you've got 6 months left on your existing Office, if you add this it'll go up to 18 months.

Weill I certainly hope so, cause that's my plan.

Just looked on the US Office 365 website and it has a 'Already have Office365 ? Renew Now' button, so shouldn't be a problem.

I use then to extend my office 365 personal (2 devices).

Each year pbtech has a sale that sees these go down to about $50 - $60 I then buy one and just add the code to my current sub, the sub then extends a year.

$50-$60, woa that's good. Would there be any pattern to that - Xmas, Waitangi Day ?

Looked on Pricespy's price tracker and the lowest they had was $79 over Xmas, so I thought $89 was pretty good (and still do). Will obviously have too keep a better look out, thanks for the info !

I was offered free 1 year subscription from Microsoft the other day, something to do with reduced onedrive storage.

Anyone got this as well?

That is for the single user Personal edition not the five user Home Premium edition which is being discussed here.
