Both colours and not a bad phone. Similar specs to a Z3 I guess.

Thanks for the heads-up on that one.

The young fullah bought one from NL last week at $488.  Popped back in there today to ask them to honour their Price Promise and got refunded $89 without any problems.

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

Link to this is https://www.noelleeming.co.nz/shop/cameras-phones/phones-and-gps/smartphones/huawei-p8-grey-spark-p8-16gb-smartphone-grey/prod142305.html

This is specifically the "Spark" model, as opposed to the listing that shows up in Pricespy, which is still $699 (see https://www.noelleeming.co.nz/shop/cameras-phones/phones-and-gps/smartphones/huawei-p8-titanium-grey-p8-smartphone-titanium-grey/prod139414.html).

What's the difference between the two models - do they support different frequencies for the different carriers?

All sold out now.

I had one in my cart, but I made an error entering my credit card details and, when I re-entered them, it then said it was no longer available. The online help person from Noel Leeming they don't reserve stock in a cart, so it's first-in first-served until the sale is confirmed (via payment being confirmed). Don't many on-line stores give someone x minutes to complete the sale before emptying the cart?

Anyway, I did check back 30 minutes later and managed to find one had become available (not sure how this fits with the line given to me above re not holding stock?) and purchased that.

IMO in that case it should not be called a cart since it doesn't operate like one.

Not sure if the Huawei phones(except Nexus) sold outside China is the normal android or their own modified android called Emui. I just got a P9 for my dad 3 days ago from China which is installed with Emui and I have to say the system is a piece of sh*t compare to the original android(just imagine when set system font size to large and all the sms/phone/contacts app having very small text in places and unbelievable huge text in other places, like when reading sms it shows huge text that only can fit 2 chars in 1 line).

Yep, Huawei phones (bar those made for Google) have Emui on them; some people like the interface, while personally I prefer a more stock approach. Installing Google Now provides a much more stock feel to these phones (worth it just for bringing back an app drawer!), and what I plan to do when I pick up my wife's P8. Can I suggest it could be worth trying this out on your father's P9?

I realise the P8 is based on Android 5.x, but a quick bit of googling shows one can download a new firmware based on Marshmallow, so I'm going to do that first off as well; good to know she won't be stuck on Lollipop for the next couple of years...
