Just notice this offer in my G Cloud backup on my phone

It's 100gigs of back up space for your PC (1 user)

http://home.zoolz.com/100gb-free-lifetime-mobile/

I have used zoolz for a while as I have a life time 1TB.  It's set and forget and checks every hour to 2 on changes in the folder you tell it to watch.

Might be handy for a few people around here.

If you use a VPN to sign up / complete registration, do you also need the VPN activate when uploading? Cheers.

Ive been using Zoolz for a good 6 months with a lifetime 1tb plan as well.  Little slow on the uploading but not really an issue. Never had issues with it.  Dumped a whole pile of old backups I need to keep on there rather than storing them locally.

Ditto - for about a year.

Two annoying things - One is that I cannot have ALL the 1Tb as cold storage. 500Gb as cold, the other 500Gb as hot, and cannot copy folder structures to the hot storage side of things. Would be handy to have folders as a quick n dirty bulk file n folder transfer.

Second - Zoolz ( the home edition)  wont allow backups from server OS's - had to make a schedule Robocopy bat file to copy the stuff I wanted to back up to a spare, mostly empty, HDD on a PC, and run Zoolz on that PC. Added advantage is that I now have *another* semi-live backup location on that PC :-). That makes it 5 backup locations.
