There is a book there I'd like, is it possible to gift that from another account, as my Amazon account is US based, and I am not keen to change it.

It wanted me to change my account to default to the Aussie store, I just searched for the books on the US amazon site and they were free there too without me needing to change anything.

Spoke to Networkn in a pm but for others to know. Being logged in as an NZ account dictates your pricing even when using a vpn putting you in the states so he can't take advantage of that pricing.

Mind you, the OP posted a link to Amazon AU. If you have a Kindle with a US account these books won't be downloaded as the Kindle will not be visible to a non-US account.

NB: T&C's state content needs to be downloaded, otherwise it's not a valid sale.

I got offered free Kindle book from Amazon uk.

Great except I bought it on my kindle 3 years ago so it wasn't "selected for me"
