Our local jbhifi is selling the LG 65b6 OLED for $3,000. . . Seems reasonable for an oled and is a huge discount off the sticker price (which for some reason is overpriced in NZ anyway).

I wonder how the b6 compares against the c7.

I guess they are clearing old stock.

Damn that's a good deal for an OLED.

If that's not a floor model, it would be a great deal.

Maybe we don't need to compare B6 against C7 (quite a bit price difference). I'd have a look around to see what other 65" models I can get for $3k, and then compare with these.

Two particular model popped up in my head are Sony 65X9000E or 65ZD9, but personally I'd pick up a $3k LG B6 anyday.

Please don't tell me things like this. I've just finished paying my last TV off. My wife would kill me if I turned up with a new TV just now. ๐Ÿ˜€

You could just replace it, maybe she won't notice?

Of course not. Just the same big silver box that looks much prettier than before.

My plan is to call my local JB HiFi shop and ask them if they can match the price.

Hopefully they also got some stock to clear too.

Did somebody suddenly find a warehouse full of old stock or is this simply a store clearing out current stock?

This is how I bought my last TV. Someone on here mentioned a great deal they got on an awesome TV and I went in and got a worse deal, but it's all good! :)

Then it should be returned to the manufacturer? Trying to on-sell that to Joe Public is asking for trouble surely?

So is that's what's to be expected of OLED TV's after a few years of use?
