Just bought three Amazon Echo Dots 3rd Gen for just over $107 NZD from Amazon USA. This is to get them delivered to NZ Post / YouShop in the USA. Postage to NZI will be about $27 so the total cost will be about $42.50 each.

This is an ongoing deal, just put three Echo Dots in your basket. Not sure if it works for other models.

Amazon give you one for free if you publish an Alexa skill for NZ/AU and it has 50 users within the first month.

Cool seeing these are the gen 3 models.

What's the NZ Post service like price wise now?
I used them once before but never liked the packaging pricing, in case Amazon packed in a massive empty box with bubble wrap stuffing (which has happened from time to time).

The Dots have reached NZ Post / Youshop. Cheapest shipping is $30. Note that this would have been less but it seems Amazon has put Dots in a big box. I see that some people have been able to persuade Amazon to reduce packaging so I will ask next time ...

Yeah that’s my concern about you shop and pricing based on volume.

I thought they were actively repacking at one stage to keep costs down?

Still a good buy though all the same 👍🏻

At only $30 its probably not worth their time to repack it down to save a few dollars. The ones they have done it for friends is when things have been tripple boxed with a whole lot of bags of air type thing. He had 2 the same arrive at youshop, one was repacked and one was not. $40 difference in shipping because of that.
