However, I found the code WEEKEND60 works on other products StackSocial is selling as Lifetime products.

I am not sure how good they are? any recommendations welcome..

Last update was nearly a year ago.

Personally I use the TorrentFreak Articles

I'm a geek, a gamer, a dad, a Quic user, and an IT Professional. I have a full rack home lab, size 15 feet, an epic beard and Asperger's. I'm a bit of a Cypherpunk, who believes information wants to be free and the Net interprets censorship as damage and routes around it. If you use my Quic signup you can also use the code R570394EKGIZ8 for free setup.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. This service is not profitable at that price point, and it will either disappear one day or make money with some other method  (spying?). I'd avoid.

I recommend Mullvad personally - they take anonymity seriously and are on the leading edge of technology. They're a company run by nerds and not suits.

Ya, he's has independently purchased and tested 100's of VPN's, its a good guide to understand what you actually want and need from a VPN, most people will just want geo unblocking so just about any VPN will do for that.

each to their own but I personally would never recommend the top 3 on torrent freaks list and a few other they mention.

I also personally try to avoid 'reviews' from affiliates

This is the VPN I use, pretty much for the reasons you've mentioned, can pay with bitcoin and has zero sign up (no email or personal details required), would also highly recommend.
