If you're running a home office or small business this may interest you.

Brother currently have €150 cashback for the MFCL3770CDW colour laser printer/scanner making it $321 for this beast (based on PB Tech price). Just received mine and it's a lot of printer for the money, including automatic double sided scanning/copying and printing. Even has a nice touch screen for easy setup as well as wifi and NFC.

As a comparison, the price on Amazon in the UK and US works out at around $540 (excluding delivery and fees).

Offer ends at the end of August, so not much time left.

Yes, that is a good price for double-sided scanning too. A lot of sub-$500 printers scan a side at a time so you have to do two passes.

Printing black will costs 5 cents a page which is OK. This is based on the lowest prices for Brother consumables on pricespy.co.nz: 5% coverage high yield black toner $127/3,000 pages plus share of drum $59/18,000, transfer belt $172/50,000, waste container $46/50,000. Paper cost and shipping costs are not included by me.

Thanks for that as our current laser printer is crapping out. Do you have any thoughts on the price of replacement toner cartridges (as we all know the printer is just a down payment). Also can you replace just the black toner cartridge without replacing the color ones?

Price wise it's average as far as I know, but I've stuck with Brother over the years for reliability more than cost. You can change the toner cartridges individually.

My Brother Laser from 2014 is still going strong, very light use. At that price it's almost cheaper to buy a new printer than to replace the cartridges and the other thingy that needs to be replaced occasionally - not sure what it's called, might collect loose toner.
