Yup I paid 75usd too earlier this year.

You have to create an account and install the server software then wait for an offer.

Are you sure your email address with them is valid? I too have been running it for quite a while and looks like they send the $75USD offer about every 3-6 months. The email title is "A limited-time offer to last a lifetime"

I reviewed my emails from plex, and yes, I did receive the $75 offer back in February.

Doh! Didn't see it as i used my 'don't care' email account which I never read.

Looking forward to Jellyfin getting iOS support (currently testing the iOS Beta), things like this make me dislike plex more and more. (new subscriptions only bs)

I've been subscribing since 2016, never once been offered any type of discount or offer 😕 I might try discontinuing my subscription when it expires in Jaunary to see if I get any offers my way.

Maybe it's (The 75USD offer) only sent to "new" customers (i.e. never subscribed to the monthly rate, etc) which seems kinda silly if that's the case... EDIT: other thing to try is go to the signup payment page for the current special offer, go partway through the payment process, then abandon it - I vaguely recall doing this a couple of years ago - nearly signed up for one of the lifetime special offers and got partway through the payment, then decided not to - that might have triggered some flag on my account to get the lower offer? *shrug*

I bought this earlier today as now I have fibre I can make better use of it.
I had an existing account but no active subscription and it let me apply the discount no questions asked.

yea it seems that they will not offer this to people who have subscription. Some say once your stop you might get it but not 100% IMHO very BS of plex for this sort of thing. Seems they are only interested in getting the numbers up on paid subscriptions.
