Yeah I stuffed up the original link. Try again otherwise easy to find on the PB Tech site.

Compared to a year ago, prices are still relatively high. I got the Samsung Evo 970 250gb for $113 last May, and now it's at $136.

I'm after a good video card... But the huge 1.8% off a single 2070 Super variant isn't enough to tempt me, especially with their 2.5% CC fee...

Related: Anyone have a 2070Super or 1080ti for sale for some sort of saving off new?

Cheers - N

edit - I wouldn't call 1.8% an "epic deal"

Agree.  I'm sure it's as difficult a time for them as anyone else but they are still not showing account pricing online and their "deals" can often be found cheaper elsewhere. PB Tech are convenient and usually competitive but it pays to check on PriceSpy or similar.

I agree. Some of these deals are rather lackluster. I've been keeping an eye on deals over in Australia, especially with the likes of ShoppingExpress

Tempted to buy over there and send it to NSW family, otherwise wait until my trip to U.S.A. next year and checking out Micro Center.

Honestly I've given up with PB "sales". Their sales tactic work - we all rush to their website to check.

I was really hoping to pick up a few things today but either not on sale or barely on sale.

There was a 1080Ti for sale recently in the offers forum for $800 from memory.

Some pretty hot deals...

Apple Pencil 2nd Gen. for iPad Pro 11" & 12.9" 3rd Gen & 4th Gen.
ON SPECIAL
Normally: $238.99
$236 60

I hope PB Tech have their crack security team at the doors as there will be thousands queuing for this megadeal of the year.

PB Tech should be embarrassed.

Would you like to play a game?

See who can spot the worst deal.

I was in store at a PBTech sale a couple of years ago. I was idly looking at laptops and I flipped up the 'sale' cardboard price tag to see what the tag said underneath. I was a little amused to see the 'sale' price for that laptop was higher than the standard price.

Buyer beware and all that.

Yeah ... I'm always itching for a new toy to play with so I look for any excuse to spend, but man these deals are underwhelming.

Times are tough I understand, but how can you even call this a birthday sale? It's barely a normal sale.

I've been keeping an eye on Amazon & BH Photo for a SSD deal and this Samsung 500GB from PB is much better than I've seen from either of those... granted no freight cost with PB.

Also some of the cables I've had in my card for a while came down and price so that was nice.

Graphics cards seem to be really tough at the moment... prices are much higher in the US than last year also so local pricing is actually pretty competitive I have found.

@gravidar - I'm seeing account pricing online when I login so maybe talk to your account manager?

I ordered quite a few parts from PB just 2 days ago for a Ryzen 7 3800X build - Total cost ended up coming out at nearly $2400 so not exactly cheap. As you can expect, I was rather annoyed there was a sale on just 2 days after doing this.

So anyway long story short, I added the exact same products to the cart and sure enough it was cheaper.

How much cheaper you ask? $1.87 Cheaper.

Not really a sale if you ask me!

Looking through PriceSpy, there seems to be a couple of decent deals lurking.

As mentioned earlier by Shapenz, the Samsung 500gb SSD is at a good price.

Sennheiser IE 80 down to $399

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 down to $998 and change

Sennheiser RS 165 down to $199

Samsung 860 QVO 1TB down to $159

Samsung Galaxy S10e LED protective cover down 89% to $9

- These aren't products I usually look at, so not entirely sure how good these deals are.
