Not wrong. They had their birthday last week. Bit harder to tell what the good deals are this time around. They've changed prices on many items whilst also removing its previous price.

Thanks ! - Good find, I hardly ever bother looking too deeply in the PB Tech sales anynore, for reasons as already noted by other posters.

Ordered one :-)

Are those Mi Boxes any good? I have an older neighbour who currently watches Sky Go(?) via chrome cast from her windows laptop and she’s forever having problems. Looks like this box runs the same OS as my new Sony TV, might be a good option for her I reckon. Needs TVNZ, TV3, sky sports, Netflix

Cheers,
Joseph

sonyxperiageek: Anyone tried one of these with a regular car?

before our regular family cycles i pump up/check 7 bike tyres.

also used it on my road bike and was a little fiddly with the presta valve but still worked.

have yet to try a car tyre with it but it seems like it will be ok as long as its not flat. the hose does get warm after a bit of pumping

I have a Mi Box and have set up 6 or so for friends and family - great value device IMO.

But they don't have all NZ apps - and while you can sideload some as I have - I would think if the NZ Apps are key then one of the Vodafone TV boxes might be a better option?

Mi box doesn't seem to run plex. According to some comments on the pbtech website. Although, maybe this is just bug that will be fixed?

That's odd, the original mi box (non s) works fine with Plex the last time I used mine.

I have a mibox s and it runs plex fine, there is however a known bug with plex (no video playback) and if it  happens to you all you need to do is disable the "new video player" option.

Yes, that seems to be the case. This or the shield? ? I'm starting to think the shield as the mibox just sounds a bit buggy.
