Thank you to OzBargain member g12345567

Some of you may have it on a floppy disk somewhere.

Dosent look like its an "official" port, just a very well done fan job :)

I'll still grab it for a laugh.

Was the first PC game I purchased. Still have the original box, but not the disks for some reason. Recall it came on 5 1/4 and 3 1/2 inch disks at the time.

A pity they didn't increase the resolution on this port and it is still so blocky. I also had the version for the Acorn Archimedes at the time and it was higher resolution with far better graphics. But this version is similar to the original game, but they haven't ported the full normal screen layout , which IMO was far better.

Few people on that Oz-bargain page saying there are issues with this particular version. Sony apparently has the rights to the original.

Are you sure? :P

(Excuse the photo of the screen; *ScreenSave doesn't work with Lemmings running!)

The resolution back in the days on a 14" CRT looked amazing ;)

When you load up an old game and you think something is wrong with your screen because it's not looking how you remembered it.

Also, why does level 3 have the music from an old Sega Master System II game i had

^^^That Archimedes system was the best.

This version of the game is wrecked.  Too many bugs and differences to the original.

You're not on Atlantis anymore, Duncan Idaho.

Maybe everything back in the 90's just looked better, but when you relook at it again in 2020, it doesn't live up to the memories. But the small numbers on the icons look more readable on the Acorn. Also may have been a difference better the monitors, CRTs would have made it all look smoother. I think the main home screen was different/ better some of the ports.

There's an online version of this game as well. Unsure whether similar to this wannabee Microsoft Store free version or closer to the original.

Was in me diapers when this came out, so haven't had the luxury of playing it. Tekken, Crash Bandicoot, & Blip & Blop were more me. Thought did enjoy a bit of Alex Kidd and Wonder Boy later on in life.

Sooooo painfully slow and annoying!

I wish you could kill the music but keep the sound effects... listening to the Lemmings explode is half the fun, listening to the backing music is not...
