Basically a copy & paste of a Sleekdeals post

which is a copy and paste of a deal from hotukdeals

"A good selection of concerts here for fans of these genres - including Pink Floyd, Queen and Dire Straits.
These concerts are currently free to stream or download onto your device via Arte who are a renown German free-to-air network so this is taken directly from their media library - in English and remastered DVD quality."

The concerts are (direct links)

Pink Floyd - Delicate Sound of Thunder (1988)

Queen - Hungarian Rhapsody - Live in Budapest (1986)

Dire Straits - Alchemy Live (1984)

Simon & Garfunkel - The Concert in Central Park (1981)

ZZ Top - Live from Texas (2007)

Some great material in there.  If you haven't watched a live Pink Floyd concert from end to end then you should.

The EDM guys have been hit particularly hard as most of their industry required everyone to get together in mass crowds.  It's good for me however as it's all gone online.

The best way the unite series on youtube:

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIwxmkYhyY_x_zmkbmrmbNw

They kicked it off with some big names and now lots of lesser known people are doing their set.  The best that I found was Phaxe.  Highly recommended:

I have watched a few now and there are always three components to a Psytrance DJ set, the music, the visuals and the dude.  Sometimes the dude twists knobs on the dj deck and sometimes they just dance.  Without being able to see the human behind the music it would be far more boring.  Spread the love, share the joy because I think this is what live performances are now.

Lots of fantastic acts out there but for me Pink Floyd is just that bit extra special.

I'm lucky enough to have seen them three times and ooh, I'll never forget the magnificent sight and sound of Rachel Fury doing The Great Gig In The Sky.

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

Excuse my ignorance. I click on the link in the first post and stream no problem. How do I actually download? Using Firefox and VLC.

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

@cshwone Right-click the link and select Save Link As, then give it a useful filename and save the mp4 file.  That will play in VLC.

There should be a download option in the media player somewhere. Mine opened in the browser media player which had download under the ... menu.

I'd rather watch David Gilmour in 320 x 240 than Post Malone in 8K.
