I have not received the email yet so not sure about all the details but... If you are a Cloudflare customer you might have an offer for US$ 10 per Yubikey security key - you claim it via a discount.

As I said I don't know if this is shipping from overseas and the costs but at US$ 10/key it might get cheaper if you order a certain quantity.

Claimed today, yet to receive the email with details, so will update when I know more

Just saw this as well after logging into the Cloudflare Dashboard. I've claimed it as well.
Will be interesting to see the details.

Just a reply for anyone else looking and cant' find it.  You have to go from main Cloudflare page to the Zero trust dashboard, and it was there in the top banner.

I saw it on my main Cloudflare dashboard first, and then again in the Zero Trust dashboard.

I have four keys - the Biometric USB and a USB-C NFC on my keyring so I can use these with different devices, another USB with an encrypted USB storage for emergency use in case I disappear and one spare in the laptop bag.

I find the use cases for these keys are rather slim currently.

I bought two expecting that I would be able to remove entering a password.

It seems for the likes of AzureAD, Google auth, a password is still required.

A password less world using hardware key would be brilliant!

That would no longer be 2 factor if it was just the key. This is a promo to get people onto real 2 factor and not the SMS rubbish.

I can use my keys to login into my Microsoft Account and to my Azure AD accounts - I don't have a password on my Microsoft Account anymore (I do have the option of Push Notification to the Microsoft Authenticator as a backup).

Bought two YubiKey 5 NFC's for $25USD including shipping, seems like a pretty good price.

Folks, you can use them i.e. in combination with Bitwarden as a secure password manager (10US$/yr account, open source!) to securely log in to nearly anything from Amazon via Geekzone to whatever you configure!

Thanks @freitasm Mauricio for the hint, the yubico offer via cloudflare even works for me here in Germany. ;-)

Indeed! I haven’t got the yubico mail up to now - is it really the 5C NFC or just the (blue) C NFC version?

The blue keys don‘t have the capabilities i.e. for LastPass or Bitwarden.

Yepp, the only issue I face is with the 5C NFC in my iPad Air 4. The USB-C part of it doesn‘t currently work with Apple‘s restrictive policy and the iPad has no NFC in general.

The iPhone, the PCs and the linux servers are completely fine with it, it‘s just the USB-C iPad.
