Stumbled across this legend on our way home
I'm developing a habit of running into him at Australian airports - crossed paths this time last year in Brisbane!

Very cool. How was your first GP in person? Live up to your expectations?

It was great fun, now to convince the better half to do it all again next year!
Anyone else using Sky Go to watch this and finding it totally unusable?

All good here, GV
F1 2026 Grands Prix in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia have been cancelled due to the Middle East conflict. So no racing in April.
Consideration was given to reallocating them to other venues but not enough time to arrange those.
At this stage Qatar and Abu Dhabi - both later in the year - are still on the schedule.
Lots of news stories on this - one here.
Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

Apparently three other circuits that are graded Class 1/A which is F1 spec where ready but where delcined by the F1 as they felt they may not have enough time to get the financing to pay for the spectacle... so its not enough time for replacements but purely money.

Might give the other teams more time in the factory to catch Mercedes

You'd think Aston Martin and Honda especially will be happy for the extra time to sort their car out.

Sounds like splitting hairs. Short story - not enough time to get relocations in place.

Good weekend for Liam so far. Looking like 5th in the Sprint race until the safety car. Sadly both got cut off in quali due to a yellow flag, both were 4/10 behind but assume first runs were on used, the last run was new softs.
Me, a few things I'm keen on from here. Liam vs Lindblad obviously. Like to see Ferrari take it to Mercedes. They have shown they can hang with them at the start due to better starts then fade a tad. Quali was closer. Keen to see Kimi take it to George, he has more improvement in him, and that seems to be showing.
Just started to watch recorded pre race.
Positives: I love J Villineuve being there, tells it like it is. So that gives cover to his attire lol
Negatives: I am so over the Brit Bias. Kimi did well, but its all about George and his issues... Liam did well but its all about Arvid the next big thing and his issues
Yes they had some issues, but if anyone has an F1 feed via Slovenia, Alaska, or Botswana, please post. At least Jensen isnt there otherwise I'll grab a bucket to sit beside me
