We didn't look good. Getting to be a pattern for us in Rio!

Good to see Fiji go through.

This loss is gut wrenching, feels a bit like the 2007 world cup.

To be fair we didn't even look in it? I don't know if you watched the game, but NZ barely fired a shot. They looked empty, energyless and lethargic.

I am wondering if Teitjins resigns now? It feels like the players aren't really gelling with him and perhaps he has got a bit over the top with his "hardness"

Hardness used to be good. But today speed wins.

joker97: Hardness used to be good. But today speed wins.

I am not talking about hardness in terms of ability to take impact. I am talking about the way he interacts with team, the extreme fitness regimes, which I have heard on the side has the the team exhausted but not in a good way, and his general my way or the highway attitude.

I've also heard he doesn't listen to his senior team members in terms of their views on games.

I don't know what you guys are talking about, there was no rugby today. We did not play, there is no Olympics they were cancelled.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

They did look completely exhausted from the word go. Japan ran rings around them. I hope they get a new coach. With the number of aspiring ABs that we have, it's not that hard to get a group of fast guys 12 months out and play 7s all the way to Tokyo.

Looking at the TAB odds for the rugger this Saturday, I'm surprised we are hot favourites still, after losing many key players. Or is Oz pretty average at the moment?

Going on Super Rugby form, I'd say they are definitely average.

They always take a step up when playing the ABs though.

We are ranked #1 in the world and generally dominate overall, Australia are coming off a poor SR season and just lost 3-0 to England in their last test series.

I wouldn't discount them though.

Hmm. The fact that Richie etc are gone , does that not make us unknown to a degree? rebuildling etc?

Doesn't really seem to have slowed down any of the SR teams or our test play so far.

Well Cruden is on the bench so I guess that somewhat settles that debate. JS is on the bench as well. I was watching some highlights videos last night, I certainly hope he can get his confidence back and return to his previous form, as on fire, that man is unstoppable!
