Lindblad was lucky, 33 sec behind Liam PLUS he hadn't had his pitstop

Outstanding result for Lawson and probably his most convincing weekend so far this season, well done to him. Lindblad should consider himself extremely lucky, he was likely to be nowhere in this race with a pitstop still to do when it was red-flagged for a pretty bizarre reason. If I am Albon, Sainz and Hulkenberg and right on his gearbox at the time, I'd have decent cause to feel a little miffed that Lindblad got in front of them.

Anyway, after the solid result in Canada and 26 points already in the vault, Lawson has good reason to feel things are going well. With Tsolov winning the feature race in F2, Lawson needs to keep these results coming if he wants to stay in the Red Bull family another season and make Lindblad look the weak link.

Yes, he was rock solid. Couldn't keep him with Piastri so why try? Safely held Albon off too. Maximised whatever might unfold

What do you reckon Lawson's incentive/bonus payments are this season, 100K for each point he brings to the team? Would already be a nice chunk of change if his base salary is 1 million as reported.

You'd really hope he's on a performance bonus.  Shades of the classic Kimi Räikkönen’s story that nearly bankrupt Lotus 🤣

If he keeps trending, he can cement himself at F1, that would be a good pay rise/bonus in itself

Just watching British Sky F1 Paddock Uncut, views of some drivers on Kimi. All great as expected. George, and this isnt a criticism as he's in a tough place. he mentioned "at the moment" and "if I can get a clean weekend"

I feel for him actually although not a fan, he started the year dominating Lewis before he left, dominating Kimi the rookie, its Georges year this year being in the best car, but wow, has that changed

Good on George. He's changed the way he prepares apparently, going for what he wants rather than the team analytics. Fair Play

Kimi, good but not great. Conspiracy wise, a track that is aero/grip dependent, so more car dependent, yet Kimi hasn't been there all weekend???

Turn 1 will probably decide this race, George has pole but Ferrari are better at the start. Will Lewis go hard to lead at turn 1?? I'd put a dollar on that...

Kimi will have the tow, so he can pickup any carnage, or follow whoever nailed turn 1, and he has little to lose

Another good weekend for Liam. He's looking a lot like Piastri 2025, there or thereabouts with his team mate, then takes over when it counts. Build it up without flash times, then pounce.

Potentially a nice points haul if any turn 1 chaos occurs.

Continue to be surprised by cars being two seconds off the pole lap time by only 10th place and below.
Really are 2 or 3 classes in F1 and good to see Liam right up there in tier 2.

Charles just destroying cars this year.

Nico Hulkenberg saying that a stone flicked up by Liam's car hit the emergency disconnect switch on his car. That must take hours of practice 😁

Three brits on the podium for the first time in many years. Pretty uneventful race to be honest. Well done Liam, upgraded to 8th after the race.

Nice to see Mr Lawson in the points again.
Also good to see a different winner for a change. As much as it's great for him, it gets boring watching the same teenager win week after week.

Im not a Lewis fan but a great result and well deserved

Kimi went great, pity he had a fail, out raced George again

George had an odd comment in the pre podium interview, when asked about the Ferrari threat now. "They will come after me" Maybe it was a non intentional comment based on where he was hot favourite at the start of the season. He is the No.2 driver on speed

Liam was unlucky in the VSC but got back in the points with Charles and Kimi stopping

Ferrari had a lot of upgrades, so I expect this form to continue. They also seemed to get better as fuel burnt off, while George was the opposite. Kimi also was strong as fuel burnt off, tyre management likely a decent part of all that

I get that, but its on merit, not like we have seen over the decades when one driver is favoured by the team

Was surprised by Ferarri they must have traded their clown shoes for italian dress shoes as they didn't slip up!  Great job by Lewis, was good to see him hunting and pushing hard.  The change to the brakes appears to have really helped and now Leclerk is the one struggling to compete.  Love how George still thinks he's #1 but in reality, Kimi has the measure of him and just needs to mature and gather experience to round off the rough edges - WDC in the making...  Good drive by Lawson, pleased that his form is continuing and he's showing well.

George acting like his bad luck is the only thing preventing him from winning.
Their car has been dominant these first races, but his team mate has had the edge each time.

Lewis, man what a cool story.  Charles really struggling with the brakes, either his old style or this time with the new.
Brutal conditions at that track though, so not surprised to see a few mechanical failures.  Hotest race yet.

Liam, nice one.  Wasn't doing so well for a bit but ended up strong.  Personally love seeing him do well against his teammates.
He's doing better PR wise this year too, an area he was sorely lacking in for a while there.
Still don't see the commentators backing him much but hey, he is doing his talking on the track and doing well.

Lando was up there.  Would be great to see a legitimate 4 team battle at teh front, but will take Ferrari stepping up any day.
Just want to go into a race not knowing in advance who is going to win it, and today (despite being mega boring for a large chunk in the middle) it was a good race on that front.
