Due to sleep deprivation..I thought the game was on this morning. So I asked someone if we won. They said 'No'... They thought I was talking about the cricket.
I was stunned for a few minutes.

Fossie, that makes two of us! I thought they were playing on Tuesday morning!

Fossie, when are you not in a stunned state of mind?

farce has become brainlessness.
up at 4 am in the morning, turn on the telly and guess what. 30 barbarians wearing the same kit! what the? i was totally lost, you had no idea what was going on. 4am or 4pm it doesnt matter. no formation can be seen, nothing.

surely someone checks the kits and says look your colours are too similar, please wear something else? maybe soccer bosses have a little more brains - you'd never see that in a soccer world cup. jerseys would be changes at kick off if that were to happen

Maybe you only had one eye open. I watched it from the kick off and I didnt find it a problem. If I recognised the player then it was an All Black, anyone else was a Scot.

Not the best performance but it was a good run with a slightly different combo in the fronts and backs. Romania will be used to try a few more combinations then the real games will begin.

Soccer jersey colours dont mean anything, its a non-contact sport so they dont really get any pile ups. When touched (or even slightly touched) then they fall over, the ref blows the whistle and they stop the game to watch an acting performance.

I don't know what you were watching, but I didn't have any problems with the choices of the Rugby jerseys.

Not exactly a stellar All Black performance, but a win nonetheless & the Scots got a big fat 0 points.

Most surprising result of the RWC so far, South Africa 30 Tonga 25, well done to Tonga!

Yeah, awesome display from the Tongan's!

Agreed, not the best All Black performance; I could take or leave the 40-points for (could easily have been more), but the nil against is pleasing.

I thought the All Blacks "B Team" played fairly well against Romania, winning 83-8, late last night/early this morning, it was interesting to see how the different combinations worked & I thought the error rate was pretty good, but not perfect, so still plenty of room for improvement there.

A very surprising result was to learn how Fiji beat Wales 38-34, ouch, that's gotta hurt big time!

Anyways, at long last, we can now look forward to some "real matches" with the All Blacks likely to meet France in the Quarter Finals next weekend & I personally don't think they will be too much problem, if their current form is anything to go by, with or without Daniel Carter, although I am sure he will be fine to play.

Go the Mighty All Blacks for Quarter Final Match against France this Sunday!!

I predict a win to the All Blacks of course, by 20-25 points.

well you've gotta be prepared for situations like these don't you, grey jerseys, biased referee, below par performance (threw the ball away a few times, minimal line breaks) ... still, rather disappointing!

It is disappointing!

I would not totally blame the ref for us losing the game. We could've done better. We definitely lost the ball too many times and we just didn't use the ball to attack wide.

Don't get me wrong, I am an ABs fan, but you have to admire the passion and flair from the French side.  I am going to be supporting them for the rest of the World Cup!

@ heavenly_wild
Scott Dixon and the IndyCar championship... lost

Australia lost to England.  Um... go the Boks?!?
We don't want to see a Northern Hemisphere team lift the Webb Ellis Cup, do we?
