Fantastic bowling from Lockie Ferguson.

Amazing work to turn that around considering the first 7 or so overs. Aus were looking to be cruising to a big 200+ total (250 looked do able).

The worm tells a story taking a right turn at about over 8!

No conway is going to test our depth, I just hope if GP doesnt come off with a heater he doesnt get hate given how little batting he is getting in red and white ball

not sure. that is a pretty par score for NZ's home of rugby.

Id be waiting on balls to the bizarre angles and running during good deliveries for ones and twos etc

What was that Santner? promotes himself up, then misses out on an easy pull shot.

Cant get past the fielders. Required RR will blow out. Now 26/3 Pressure is a bot to much. We will be better once strike bowlers are off, but by then the RR pressure will tell

NZ being dumb was what that was.  Santner rarely comes off with the bat, moving him to three to waste powerplay balls was as previously stated.

Happiest cricketer in NZ right now, Henry Nicholls I reckon.  Will be making sure the phone's charged to receive the call coming his way.

We better not play like this when the test series comes up. At this rate we going to lose the T20 series 3-0.

Same. This game is over, and it adds pressure to game 3.

he tried but hes way to far down the order. zero decent players to partner with.

reminds me of the bangers series selection.

again, no bowl.

they resting our Test players fine, but bring in the guys who did well in the SS T20 domestic.

Lockie and Sears combined 6 wickets at avg of 10. Throw O'rourke in there when we have some batsmen, drop Boult and Southee, Boult repeated Southees effort. all out pace. Santer needs to go back to drawing board with last games Economy, now this one.

Good pitch, odd angles and you see noobs saying how easy it will be with the short boundaries but 80m the other way. Good luck with that.

Its like a cauldron at Eden Park/National stadium.

We need a long batting line up which is hard with players rested and injured.

Lockie would be interesting in 3-4 over short spells in NZ Tests.

Canterbury largely a blackcaps packed side. auck have George Worker and thats it. Of interest will be Nicholls. He could bat his way back into BC's white ball, and possibly red ball, and if he does, thats how it should work. ie as it did for Southee. auckland have to play Solia at 3, largely an all rounder with a batting avg of 18.

Of interest to me is Mitch Hay playing WK. Batting at 6, early days but interesting stats, circa FC 42, List A 24, T20 19 with SR 149....
