Bung: You're tough, you'd sack fastest qualifier who came 2nd after fluffing the start as he is past it. Reminds me of a manager at work who was very definite that it was come 1st or you were rubbish when they were an Olympics team member and a room full were too polite to ask "Well, why did you bother?"

Agree.Ive criticised Vettel for struggling when he has real opposition. Webber, Danny Ricc. However he has dug deep and responded.

Pity LeClerc was penalised on Turn 2. Why? Out was made very clear that early turns after the start are incidents. LeC understeer. It wasnt intentional. But now its an incident, especially after they declined it as just a racing incident. Strange. They decided on it, then they undecided and changed it.

I assume referring to verstappen being penalised in his qualifying lap for not lifting off when passing Botha’s’ accident on the last corner.

Why is Max so special he shouldn't have to lift for clearly-waved yellows?

How many years of 'Poor Max' do we have to put up with before people realise that maybe, just maybe, Max is the problem?

Wow......what a race. the finish was amazing, on the edge of my seat for a change. A real Shame Albon didnt get on the podium only a few corners form the finish. Great see to Honda having a great race.

perfectly sums up Max, Hamilton and Ferrari's season.

Max - would have won the title if he drove a Ferrari or a Merc

Hamilton - not quite the best package but always there or thereabouts giving him the title thanks to Ferrari's comical performance

Ferrari - implosion galore throughout the season, and this was the climax

Yawn.......I find the Abu Dahbi race really boring. A procession of cars going round and around.

Its a very modern track, lots of open straights and some tricky corners. I just can't put my finger on it there was plenty of passing in the mid pack but there is something sterile about the track that makes me go ......meh....... maybe its the lack of retirements and pretty much everyone finished in their spot.

Total opposite from last race in Brazil which by far was the best race of the year.

Happy for Carlos Sainz finishing the year in 6th. Good to see McLaren as best of the rest.

Oh and Marcus Armstrong in F2 next year, will start following that with more interest.

Pole, Win, Fastest lap all to the same person.  F1, you're just not doing it right.

Fully two championships in one here.  Take top 3 teams away and there's some awesome racing action going on down the line, just gets little coverage.

Sterile is the best word, and it's not just F1 struggling with this.  Boxing and rugby etc, loses the raw risk appeal when you make it too safe.
Wide supermarket carpark run off areas, only made interesting by massive amounts of paint swirls, no refueling, confusing messages of race but then get inconsistent rulings when you innevitably do touch, same teams still out the front.  Meh is a pretty good summation actually.
