The biggest thing(s) I want out of tonights game is discipline first and foremost. Low penalty count, no cards, and secondly the bonus point win.

I don't really care to see 100 points put on Canada, I'd rather see high quality finishing.

Our referee this evening has a penchant for cards apparently.

I used to wish more than anything, to avoid Wayne Barnes, but right now, the French referees make him look thoroughly exceptional by comparison.

If we can take our referee out of contention, I'd be very happy.

One thing I was thinking about, was how sick of press events Steve Hansen looks.

It's kind of an interesting thing, he got stuck into a reporter the other day for asking "low quality questions", but, I am unsure what he expects them to ask? He said ask things that are interesting to the fans, but the reporters know in advance he wouldn't answer them anyway, so why ask?

No point in asking about tactics, Steve Hansen (quite rightly) shuts those down, selections- nope, personal details on player progress - not really.

It's all just going through the motions mostly, but Steve Hansen can't really expect better questions, if he isn't prepared to give better answers.

Why is it every pool except Australias has 3 genuine contenders for 2nd spot? ie Aus have lost a game and should have a team capable of removing them from moving forward, Uruguay? sigh. Why not just end that Pool Wales and Aus move forward if thats the case?

One thing that is irking me, is when the ball is considered clear of the ruck so that the ball/halfback can be legally attacked. It seems pretty inconsistent, but I must admit I struggled to understand the rule(s) for it in the first place.

Yeah, I dont see the issue in this example but its not consistent. The half has cleared the ruck by picking up the ball, he would have been fair game many frames back when his hands first touch the ball. Is that applied consistently, hell no. Because halves take so long deciding what to do, they get picked off in indecision, instead of that being good defense its given a penalty of halves being x86 model brain chips. 16MB of Ram :-). Hold on an aussie, that would be the cheap apple brand back in the day before millenials got sucked into Bill Gates bailing out Apple and there cheesey completely pushing the legal boundary we made the first load of rubbish adverts. So Id say 128MB of Ram and 8MB of ram, and like apple in the day, everybody hides in shames of owning one haha. Go Wannabies.

I thought Michael Hooper made an excellent point that rugby is meant to be an 80 minute game, not a 95 minute game. The incessant TMO interventions are ruining the flow and breaking the he.

Yet Hooper and Nic White are the 2 cheer leaders consistenly taking dives for normal tackles and constantly wasting time complaining to the refs like the wet paper towels they are. I cant respect Hooper from any perspective. This is one of the worst Wallaby eras of all time and he really sums it up. At least when Gregan use to whinge he would pick moments when something 50/50 occured. Hooper is just constantly throwing his hands in the air then chewing the refs ear off, if Nic White was captain, we wouldnt finish a game in 120 minutes hes such a soft little jelly bean. So I find it a bit rich coming from two of the worst offenders at wasting time in games to be pointing the fingers at refs

I can't honestly tell if you might be high? LOL.

Hooper is consistently one of Australias best players and is leading from the front and by example every game I see him play. He is literally everywhere in every game and into everything. He plays well at both super rugby and test level. I'd be surprised if his stats didn't put him near the top in the top 15 players at super rugby level

Current top of the pool, Italy. Of course this is highly unlikely but much less unlikely of knocking out SA than the Pool Aus got.

networkn: and is leading from the front and by example

going down and staying down when he gets a tackle across the chest that he hopes may just get interpreted as head high. haha. im just having a laugh. hoops is one of the biggest time wasters in the game so its a bit rich coming from hm was all I was really seriously saying. Its a bit like the NRL now, they are taught to stay down for slightest infringement which are often not even close to am infringement and hoops does lead that by example. his time wasting talking about penalties for a minute is also really annoying. I wouldnt raise the issue but if he is complaining it really a bit rich.

Not saying he isnt a good player.

Well Georgia is still in with a chance, and are more likely to beat Australia than Italy is to beat SA or NZ.

Barrett sucks in the up and unders, seen him drop so many the last 4 games. Hes great with ball in hand, but not good catcher under pressure and not a good kicker hence why we have Richie.

Frustrating with all the dropped balls. Looks pretty greasy pit there though, and damn they are playing at pace.

Looks like they are playing with a piece of wet soap. Players that normally have excellent ball security, spilling it. Frustrating, but rather learn to handle the the slippery ball now than in the knockout stage.

I dunno, It seems to be the usual suspects when its greasy, Scott and Beauden Barrett just making basic blunders.

The same as the final 20 of the first half 60-80 flapping B grade rugby.

Savea and his batman outfit.

Still some positives.

SBW was lethal and very smart with 2 kicks bouncing up under the posts for tries. The kick from Moanga across field to unmarked BB was gorgeous and smart.

The forwards lost a few line outs and or just didnt listen to the call, like the one which went right over the top to nobody and just bounced on ground, not even a trick line out, just a stuff up.

Id rate ABs 6/10 on that game.
