I used to switch to the international audio feed but lately have just had it on David Coulthard.
I liked Brundle for similar reasons, with their actual race driver experience perspective.
They had Harry Benjamin on the international feed which was a significant improvement over Croft. Great timing on the part of Sky UK for Lawson's career best result in F1.

Correct - but I was talking about waving them around before he starts talking - when he should be standing still, listening attentively and nodding courteously to his colleagues who are talking. 😀
If anything he should do this more tbh.
Just lean into it. Full on Italiano madness. The guy's infectious enthusiasm rendering him completely incomprehensible is even funnier. In the event we get a close title race he would just be screaming.
The racing bulls new livery for Silverstone looks cool! Really hoping for a good race this weekend

With Lindblad supposedly making a FP1 appearance this weekend, who gets to sit down? The 2025 regs require a rookie in the seat twice for each car, so eight appearances across the four Red Bull cars. Iwasa already subbed in for Verstappen at Bahrain so seven left.
My vote is Lindblad should get into Verstappen's car this time, give him and Tsunoda the same run plan for FP1 and see who does better. Sky Sport Italy are reporting Max is in "concrete talks" with Mercedes for 2026. The chances of the Red Bull PU being awesome straight out of the box next year are pretty low, despite the help of Ford and whatever IP they have from Honda and the engineers RB hired when Honda were looking to exit F1. Might as well check out what the young Brit can do on his home track.
That said, the most likely scenario is Hadjar makes way for Lindblad in FP1 I think. Let Lawson continue to build after Austria, and they are certain to keep Hadjar anyway. The only way Tsunoda stays with the Red Bull organisation in 2026 is if Verstappen leaves, otherwise I think he's done.

Hadjar counted as a FP1 rookie for the first two race weekends. So, they only need 3 for RBR and 2 for RB/VCARB.

Good point. Also need to work on my maths skills apparently, it's been a long day.

Yes they said that. Pretty cool, an issue last year, but they both behaved like adults and each got the most out of it.
Daily its F idiot. Then they share a latte afterwards

Apparently Lindblad will be in Tsunoda's car for FP1 according to Dr Marko.

Game is to compare him against Tsunoda. Either in Max's or this way in exactly the same machinery. Sadly though Lindblad's FP1 efforts to dial in the car will naturally benefit Tsunoda in FP2.
Lots of talk of Max to Mercedes firing up now. I actually can see that working. Full honesty moment, if Red Bull loses Max they could very well be back markers next year given no one else can get that heap of a car to perform. They've really failed on the succession planning there, and I now recall Newey falling out with the engineers after suggesting they should be focussing on driveability over pure downforce etc.
George does not have a Mercedes contract for next year yet either, what could they be waiting for...
Apparently Antonelli is only on a one-year contract currently so Toto has two seats to offer potentially. Definitely think he is waiting to see which of his two current drivers look more likely for 2026 and beyond though (assuming Verstappen signs with them).
Still believe Verstappen would be better to go to Aston Martin though. They have the Newey/Honda dream team there and Stroll Snr's chequebook. Wache and his team don't look like they can design their way out of a paper bag currently, his stock has definitely been going on a downward trajectory since Newey and Rob Marshall left. It's not unimaginable to think Red Bull will be scrapping Cadillac and possibly VCARB for the wooden spoon next year if the new PU is underwhelming.

AM have last week confirmed their drivers for 2026. Stroll and Alonso.

Bedding in year for the new regs.
