Will be wet. Doesn't look like uber wet, but it may comes down to who compromises Quali's to match the weather on race day(s)
Max did that recently but the weather didn't play ball!
Sprint and full race look to be wet too. Bring it on!

Yes it will be fun, makes it a drivers race than a semi scripted car brand race

Also F1TV 4k support has been added for google tv, ive just upgraded my sub and confirmed that it works.
I have not tested on a tv with native google tv software.
Thanks for the heads up.
Tell me about the upgrade, is that a reduced cost to add on/prorated to what's left in the season etc?
I'm running the F1 app directly on the Sony tv, so hope that would work...
So it refunds your existing sub up til now, ( I got $59.17 back) and then charges you for the full $159 to get the premium and starts a new subscription for a year from now. So in effect i will have to re-sub this time next year.
Hope that makes sense.

Formula 3 had Practice Postponed due to fog (unable to run the session safely because they can't meet the required rescue helicopter landing conditions), Formula 2 just started and still looks quite foggy, but they have managed to start it seems.
4K UHD F1TV premium looks awesome on Chromecast with Google TV connected to Sony x90g. This has also alerted me of a HDR format I wasn't familiar with called HGL.
Go Oscar. He is faster, rarely makes on track errors. Lando, while great, isnt as fast, makes frequent errors
The stats on FP showed that Max's low wing is a huge advantage starting 2nd, but the onboards show a lot less. But the sprint should be fun, assuming is still dry
Jvipers2: Max wins, with both McLaren without an answer..so it's true that Horner is the problem
Rain tomorrow? Or McLaren just let Max drive past again after the start?
McLaren were too conservative with their down force level, Red Bull went risky. Would have been the same at Silverstone except low downforce is terrible if it rains.
You can see from main quali Red Bull increased downforce expecting rain for main race and McLaren may have taken some off.
Red Bull also had upgrades that have no doubt been in development for months.
Red Bull i.e. Max nailed the sprint race. The lower downforce exceeded the loss in the tighter turns. Now that rain has set in for the race, normal service has been resumed with similar wings for the race
Weather shows light but consistent rain. Inters. I hope its not a farce of red flags.
Hadjar is the big rookie of all according to the commentary. I get that, but Liam who was generally 2 or 3 tenths behind is there. Miniscule behind. Not quite getting what he deserves, thats ok, continue to deliver on track.
Lewis. No idea. Biggest name ever but so far away.
Jvipers2: Biggest shock is where Yuki is.. is mekies finally making the car drivable for both instead?
No.
Liam quailed 6th recently and finished 6th, that doesnt mean that he is the 6th best on the grid
As regards Yuki, its a very small sample size. Yuki, like many drivers is good but not great. Many here and elsewhere say the car is made for Max, I dont buy that at all. Mekies, unlike Horner may have said, you cant beat Max, forget Max's car setup, what do you want? Wing settings? softer dampers/suspension, less or more tyre pressures to manage grip and tyre wear? What do you want?
Max's stiff setup will yield the best lap time, but with more risk. Yuki may have gone conservative so its more stable, but slower, and most likely in between. If he can be solid but not great, that can be built upon
He now has the last upgrades, so that likely added to his lap time.
things dont look promising for the race to start or even finish due to torrential rain , the F3 race was called off due to torrential rain abd F2 went ahead but it was stop go due to no visiblity with the spray. must admit fun to watch.
Common sense is not as common as you think.
Jvipers2: Biggest shock is where Yuki is.. is mekies finally making the car drivable for both instead?
I got the impression Mekies made some calls to get Tsunoda some better parts for his car, including a floor which was previously designated as a spare for Max. I think F1TV's coverage last night also had it that Red Bull were taking some rear wing off Tsunoda's car to give him more pace, which might account for his good result in qualifying.
So, given the weather forecast, it might not be surprising if Yuki were to slip down the grid if it's a wet race.
Hoping for a good race from Lawson tonight, it's going to be difficult keeping Botaletto behind him off the line but he's looked strong so far this weekend. Again Hadjar has just shaded him but at least it's a lot closer than the 2-3 tenths the Frenchman normally has on him. A wet race may favour Liam over Isack based on what we've seen so far this season.
That was some drive by Oscar to run those mediums for 30+ laps at that pace. Great win!
Nice to see Liam finish in the points too, overall a pretty boring race though. Straight into Hungary this weekend!

Agree with all that. My 4am wake up call dragged out, Sky had another feed start a bit later, so re watched lap 4 to 18 again.
