Surely there's a point where the footballing nations decide enough is enough, form an alternative international body, and leave FIFA?

I just don't know how easy it would be...and the individual confederations are as corrupt as each other - anywhere there's lots of money and perceived power, there'll be greed and corruption.

But you're right...someone, somewhere has to say that enough is enough.

I really think trumps interference really didnt help the team if any thing it’s alienated the team from natural fans. I’m sure most true football fans were all rooting for 🇧🇪 . Some great games coming up still have one team left in my tab bets vive La France 🇫🇷

They probably have a duplicate World Cup to award the orange one at the end of the competition to get rid of him. He’s very easy to please just like a small child.

We're putting up with ad hydration breaks. We've got political interference and FIFA being d*cks. My team got knocked out early.

Yet despite all that I'm really, really enjoying this world-cup. TVNZ are doing a good job with the coverage. There have been some great matches, a few unexpected results and some nail-biting climaxes.

in that case the FIFA ref committee would have cancelled the red card.

but after political interference at the highest order, the red card still stands. they only suspended the suspension.

so i think the referee committee at FIFA disagrees with you and Trump.

With all of our gripes regarding the TVNZ+ app leading into the world cup I really can't fault the coverage so far. My only annoyance is the highlight packages in 25FPS but I understand that is controlled by FIFA themselves and not something that TVNZ have any control over.

Anyway, back to ~~watching~~/working.
