We're inclusive in here.
Ok I purchased a OUXI V8 Pro last week from Kiwieride in Auckland.
So far im liking it. Would you believe got a flat tyre on the 4th day of riding it. 50 kms on the clock.
What surprised me when I picked it up was a newer version.
bigger LCD Screen-ME-03Z
Rear Suspension -where the original did not have any.
Anyone else around here got one of these ?? Like to exchange info

So reporting back on my daughters issue.
Despite a thorough inspection they were unable to find a fault, but accepted our word that we aren't adding things to the bike itself.
As a precaution they replaced the brakes entirely for Shimano, did it the next day and didn't charge us anything. The gears not changing was due to a misalignment of the derailer, possible the bike has blown over in the wind at some stage.
My daughter is over the moon. The brakes work great now.
We are really happy with the result once it was raised further up the food chain and I did call the manager back and thank him for giving up his own maintainence slot to ensure our bike got sorted so promptly.

That's a good result really. I'm not trying to defend bikes but they can be quite delicate devices, sounds like the derailleur hanger may have been bent (it's designed to) but it leads to non shifting which can't be corrected. And the tool for measuring it is ridiculously expensive and best left for bike shops.
Other than that, keep an eye on the brakes, the rotors are probably steel and generally take care of themselves but they absolutely cannot tolerate any kind of substance getting on them. I've done long trips with the bikes on the bike racks behind the car and the rotors getting covered in all kinds of road grime.
Shimano as a rule make really, really good brakes too.

can’t say I’ve ever heard of one of those, but a quick google tells me it’s one of those ones that looks a bit like a motorcycle.
All the bike shops seem to be selling those these days.
Are you using it purely for fun, or as a commuter?

Yeah, once escalated the approach by the Bike shop (MEC Bikes Mt Eden, mentioned because I believe their response overall was great), was beyond reproach. I had the conversation 10am one day and got a text back 11am the following day saying the bike was sorted.

Looks like fun. Room for two on the seat. More if you're in SE Asia.

Its just for fun. Today I did the Hamilton River trail or 26 kms of it and I had fun.
Got a puncture already last saturday and took it to Evo for the repair-rear wheel and they charged me a reasonable price.
86 kms on the clock already.
I dont think the battery is got the range as I expected though after todays expereince
