Dunno why they are booing Lando.
Jvipers2:
Yeah, what's with the booing?
Same reason the Tifosi boo'd in Monza. The crowds is going to have a long memory of McLaren making Oscar gift Lando the win in Monza.
thermonuclear:
Abysmal weekend for Lawson
In the race he was bulldozed by our great personal friend, Sainz, on the first corner. Just drove straight on despite having Lawson on his left. Haven't caught up with whether Sainz was boxed on his right, have to look at some more replays to see what was going on. Then nearly bowled a couple of marshalls running on the track after his front wing change. Then retired with a poked floor.
You can see a snippet of Sainz onboard here, shows someone? up the inside hit the hass and he took avoiding action and hit Lawson.
Jvipers2: Lindblaad's great FP1 shows that RB is running 2 different cars! lol
I mean Max gets the upgrades first has been the policy since Daniel Ricciardo left for Renault in 2018

Shocker qualifying for Liam
Not really his fault though. The problem is being down in the pack.
My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.
That Alonso is a wily old fox, he knew that pushing Ocon into Sainz would knock Lawson out. AM is chasing RBR in constructors championship.

may or may not be his fault but people compare his results with hadjar
Bearman on the other hand … !!! Can’t say it’s not his fault he keeps doing so well

He had chances to address that but didn’t pull it together when it counted in qualifying.

The thing he really has to stop doing is going in the press pen and telling the world that the car is "really fast" when he's failed to demonstrate that in qualifying or the race. The fact that he has relatively few crashes makes me wonder if he does drive within himself, especially during qualifying. Not an unsensible policy on the face of it but if he can't get closer to the ragged edge he's always going to be a tenth or two on the wrong side of things versus Hadjar and the rest of a really tight midfield.
Hadjar topped Q1 in Mexico, Lawson in P6 ahead of LeClerc / Verstappen and Tsunoda.
Q2 though and he's out. Had several goes on fresh tyres and failed to land laps when it counts.
It's that sort of thing that just doesn't add up.
I think Red Balls bring this on themselves with the way they run their teams and drivers.
So much mental pressure as your seat could be dropped, it's no wonder they're not just feeling it, instead driving every lap saying don't mess it up!
Jaxson:Yeah Hadjar to red bull, new guy into racing balls, leaves Yuki vs Liam.

i think it's illegal to have control over 2 teams, just shifting drivers engineers mechanics and CEOs at will

Lando well deserved. Master class lap speed wise, less so evidence of racing /passing craft.
Oscar has been off for quite a few races now. Lando’s DNF means Oscar was even further away that it could have been.
McLaren have said they will let the 2 fight it out and if neither of them wins then so be it.
As a result, both garages have stopped sharing data with each other. Prior to that, whoever is slower would just copy exactly what the other guy was doing, and they are 1-2 in qualifying. But no more since about a month ...
