Suspect if Liam doesn’t score points in the next few races he will get axed for next year.

Trust RB to leave their decision to the last minute 🙄

Was about to say the sprint race is fairly mundane, then 3 cars start a synchronised ballet!

Liam acquitted himself well in qualifying - barely put a foot wrong.

For all we know the decision could already be made based on sponsor money or desire by Marko to find a new boy wonder before he retires.

Liam's biggest worry at moment will be Bearman behind him at the start.

Im going to revise my opinion of Lando and Oscar

Oscar has grown, the mini iceman. Lando is beset by emotional instability.

Now, you could say Oscar has choked by trying to hold the lead. Lando, nothing to lose, has gone for it. Typical of individual sports if you are the leader or chasing

Now, it seems that Oscar had peaked, a top driver, but has peaked. Lando has removed the mental instability he showed each and every race. Lando is a tad better, thats it.

With few races left, things can happen for and against each driver, its more a between the ears game than a racing car game

Unless there is a sad DNF, Lando wins the WDC, and deserves it.

Liam, good weekend so far

Wont be watching the race live so I'll be avoiding the interwebs tomorrow!

Bearman is the most dislikable driver on the grid currently IMHO, full of himself and frequently in front of the stewards while publicly suggesting he's always the victim. His "Typical Lawson" comment on the radio was a clear case of the pot calling the kettle black given he frequently likes to drive his car as if it's a bulldozer and owns the track.

Thought Lawson was extremely unlucky to be penalised for the T4 incident with Bearman when that occurred largely as a result of Bearman's dangerous driving along the straight. The Brit should have been more harshly penalised, it was mostly good luck that his actions didn't result in Lawson crashing out on the straight. The penalties should dished out regardless of the result in my view, Bearman is a menace on track and his squeezing of Lawson onto the grass was deliberate.

Lawson will be well advised to try and stay clear of him in the opening corners if he can.

Karma is coming for Mr Bearman.

Sao Paulo always delivers! That was a brilliant race and well worth a 6am start. So happy for Liam to hold onto 7th on 50 lap old mediums was brilliant. Great drive from Max but Lando just too good.

Max and Red Bull did well to turn that car and setup around.
Excellent drive considering flat tyre , but safety cars helped a little.

lando mentally released now and results following.

Lawson held it all together. Well done.

Tough for Oscar - Kimi seems to still have the F3/F2 philosophy on shutting the door, needs to understand the concept of racing without hitting - he did similar (and paid for it) against Sainz in Austin - and Leclerc in Zandvoort and Bortoleto in Monaco

Lawson held on well, 52 laps on a set of tyres!!

Good win for Norris, another masterful drive for Verstappen where Red Bull probably played it conservatively with the second stop and sacrificed P2. Good result for Lawson but not sure about the tyre strategy, should P6 have been his? Hadjar did run the two-stop strategy, similar but not identical to Bearman, yet the Brit was 50 seconds up the road by the finish. Better pace in the Haas or a better strategy team at the American outfit?

Lawson will be happy to finally score some points after a few lean weekends, and to beat Hadjar on the road was also good, though it seems like the Frenchman was stuck in a train which impeded his progress.

Another masterclass from Red Bull Racing in F1 rules manipulation.

Max had a car that even he couldn't get out of Q1 owing to a bad bet on a setup change after the Sprint Race.
Hmmm, what do do? "If we throw a new engine into it he'll have to start from the pitlane, but we can also sort out the suspension & aero setup and give Max a car that might podium instead of being a contender for 15th place."
Genius! Give whoever thought of that a big bonus - it has enabled RBR to jump over Ferrari into 3rd place in the Constructors' Championship which is worth millions of dollars in prize money.

Its hardly Red Bull rules manipulation - its a common enough tactic used by many teams. Haas and Ocon also did it this morning.

Hamilton, Alonso, Antonelli, Sainz all did it at Spa

wow if that's masterclass then I should be an F1 chief strategist.

that was the first thing i thought of when Jos left the chat

FYI PU penalty is grid penalty only

Pit lane start is due to parc ferme trespass penalty

a few years ago Hamilton and Bottas got new PU in FP1, new PU in FP2, new PU in FP3, 3 sets of everything for the price of a 150 place grid penalty.

FIA immediately banned the practice, so nobody else was able to do it.

Hi team,

With Black Friday looming can i ask about F1 coverage on Sky TV please?

Do you get access to the race in 30 recap, and general session 10 min recap race/practise/qualifying highlights options on sky, like you do on F1 TV?

Or is it only live coverage etc?
