Live on ESPN at 04:30 nz time, who's cheering whom?
Whilst not a supporter of either, I'm cheering for Crystal Palace as the London representatives! :D

As a former Palace fan, I will be keeping an eye on things if I'm awake. Even though I studied north of the Watford gap - Hi UMIST, it has to be Palace.
I'll be up and supporting my team of 31 years, the red devils; originally from the borough of Trafford so this was my local team (along with the Altrincham Robins)... I'm not expecting magic with Van Gaal in charge, but you never know, the win may salvage some pride for the season.
Neither are my favourites, but I will be rooting for Crystal Palace in this particular one. The Chief Executive of Crystal Palace, Phil Alexander, spent a couple of seasons playing in New Zealand, including playing for my local side, the mighty Miramar Rangers AFC.
Extra points if Alan Pardew nuts LVG.

Well that was a good showing by Sky Sports & ESPN; not sure if ESPN re-sell their entire guide to Sky or if Sky can control the programming but they screwed up annoyingly.
Poor win to be honest, team had a number of chances but really didn't make enough from them and required palace to show them the way. Van Gaal has to go unfortunately; he has taken a side that is generally quite clinical and fast paced and made them sluggish and pass around too much... He also persists with random players (fellaini, rooney (although if he picks up in Midfield then that will be fine)) when they're just poor.
Not looking forward to the rumours of Mourinho in charge; might have to suspend my United following until he leaves... I cannot stand the man and I think it will be a mistake long term.
VERY annoyed that the skybox didnt continue to record into extra time.....
Not sure if it was Sky programming cock up or Sky just resell ESPN and it was ESPNs cockup.
Think it's because Sky don't control ESPN, just get the feed from wherever so the guide never adjusts when something goes on longer - it's happened to me a number of times for Champions League games that have gone that far too. Wouldn't have thought it would be difficult for them to make sure MySky continues though. A good reminder to always manually set say the next hour after the scheduled finish to record for anything that could potentially go on longer just in case.
