Just received:

A year ago, Quay Park Arena Management (QPAM) and Spark announced that Spark would take over as naming rights and technology partner for Vector Arena in 2017.

Tomorrow, Spark is formally taking over the long-term naming rights, and Vector Arena will officially become known as Spark Arena.

Like all good makeovers, the change won’t necessarily be visible overnight. You’ll start to see the name Spark Arena appearing online and around Auckland, but we’re waiting until early May when we’ll have the new signs on the building to start talking in more detail about what’s in store for the renamed arena

I've heard they're going to have free WiFi with the same Huawei solution being used at Westpac Stadium. It'll be interesting to see how well it works..

Huawei is way cheaper.

Not bad, but think they'll be after a bit more "zing" and "zang" about it.

More like this.

Amazing! You've captured the reflective acoustic properties of vector arena perfectly!

yitz: HG659 ?

Yeah, they were gonna create two SSIDs running off that for the entire stadium to use, one for staff and one for guests.

I'll link this thread next time I see someone complaining that the ISP business is tightly margined.

yitz: HG659 ?

Nah you'll want the HG659b for a high density deployment. The "b" means it's better. 3 should be fine on channels 1,6 and 11 and setting 80MHz in the 5GHz band will deliver plenty of throughput.

Well firstly you need to get a HG556a for the DSL connection with Vodem backup (Redundancy there)
Connect up a 630B and call it a day, Write the 8 digit key on the front of all the plastic seats.
Profit.

And HG means High Gain.
