This morning Americas Cup kept crashing on fan pass and now the Lions Rugby. The stream stops all the time. Other channels have no problem. So I've paid $300+ dollars for this and I am pissed off. Anyone else having issues?

I had lots of issues with fan pass.. they refunded me around 3-4 times after crap service.

So I gave up and joined sky satellite.

I think the only reason the have Fan pass is to piss you off so you buy a full sky subscription with sports and HD.

think they come from different servers, not sure of the player side of things

and fan pass is not becoming skygo

skygo has been awesome for all the americas cup races, and all the lions/all blacks games ive watched. ZERO buffering, ZERO cutouts no issues at all. everything streamed in HQ goodness

I think Neolion (?) provides backend for Fanpass and Rugbypass, I mention this as Rugbypass wasn't the best last night either so maybe it was them having the issues?

I've always found sky-go relatively reliable (don't use it that often), but via PC to a 46" telly it's a bit soft picture wise.  This is where fanpass looks better, but they killed the decent charges before the americas cup, and even the all blacks game this past weekend it would have been an option if they had the day pass.

Spark. To be fair yesterday was the first time I have had an issue with FanPass. I hope it doesn't continue.

Rugbypass was superb last night.

My only comment would be that the frame rate does not seem quite as smooth as broadcast tv. Especially on fast moving action which is quite often with rugby.

And I think ComCast provide the backend for SkyGo.
