The broadcast deal covers:

America's Cup World Series 2019

America's Cup World Series 2020

America's Cup Christmas Race 2020: Auckland

Prada Cup - Challenger Selection Series 2021: Auckland

36th America's Cup Match Presented by Prada 2021: Auckland

TVNZ outbid Mediaworks to get the rights (rumoured to be $3m).

No mention if Sky even bid for the rights - so much for a monopoly sports rights owner as everyone claims.

Sixth Labour Government - "Vision without Execution is just Hallucination"

Agreed. I doubt Sky has ever had a monopoly at all, ever. There has always been a choice for anyone to buy any rights. I feel Sky might prefer not to have these every now and then events.  No one will cancel Sky as they don't have the America's Cup, and few will subscribe to watch the America's Cup. Its 3 million that's not coming off the bottom line
