I think  Whincup & Dumbrell are pretty unstoppable barring some massive cock up. Really hope Scotty can pull something off though.

Maybe Jamie will ignore team orders and run out of fuel again. Who knows.

This is the hardest of all the endurance races to pick. I am going to pick Jamie Whincup and Scott McLoughlan as an outside chance.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

I am sad I wont be seeing the great race this year, I cancelled Sky earlier this year and I feel $99 to watch one weekend too much

Go find someone with Sky and take over their lounge for the weekend.

sadly most of my friends and family have dumped Sky. I nearly signed up again just for the great race and considered Vodafones 3 day install but common sense prevailed dammit.

A wet first practice means that nothing can be gleaned from the cars performance.

I'm convinced the ZB has a pretty massive aero advantage, at least in the hands of T8, who may have chosen to keep that card close to their chest until the end of the year and no parity testing could be done. Given how Sandown went, I'm not optimistic we'll see a close race or even a good one. Plus whenever a T8 car does find itself in the mid-pack, a marginal safety car call always seems to go their way, while the same incident seems to be a totally different story if they are leading.

In short, I don't know why I'll bother, but I will be hoping for a McLaughlin win. If I was putting money on it, I'd be going for Stanaway, simply because I think he could actually hunt Whincup down in a 10 lap sprint to the end.

Is the Commodore killer making an appearance this year, or do we need to await 2019?
