Can Mclaren pull one out of the bag or will there still be preformance issues? We know Lando can drive he is also a TRS winner.

Interesting to see in the news this morning that Ferrari have confirmed Brendon Hartley as a simulator driver for this season.

I wonder if that means we will see him come in at some stage this season as a back up driver, or whether he will end up being left to race either Porsche or Formula E for the season while still doing simulator duties...

Alonso wasn't a bad driver either, but there's only so much you can do with a slow car.
That's the main IndyCar difference really, where arguably the driver is an equal or greater influence to the car performance.

Just waiting on legitimate coverage options in NZ now...

I feel a really decent battle between Leclerc and Verstappen this year!

Danny Ric will be mostly disappointed, just can't see Renault having the package to keep them really competitive.

The little things make the biggest difference.

Fully agree, there might be some interesting internal team battles where drivers are more closely aligned skill wise.

Simply hoping Shoe'y is just treading water until a Ferarri seat arrives.

And looking forward to some quality team radio from Kimi.

We have at least 2 in the field that are known for causing crashes, so bets on how many?

also big news of the day is BH signing as a Sim Driver for Ferarri

Best quote: "But it makes a lot of sense. Firstly, he is renowned for giving very good technical feedback, with Honda in particular rating him very highly in this area. In fact, they made a point of saying he was key in helping them accelerate their engine development last year."
