I am really surprised that this hasn't been more widely advertised.
There'll be some quality football on show here - the Womens' game in Europe is very strong and highly professional.

I guess it's because no local broadcaster has picked up the rights (which does mean we get free access of course). It's typically through their promotions that it becomes widespread knowledge in NZ.
I do agree though, we've got the world cup coming our way next year and UEFA2022 is great opportunity to raise the profile of that. Would have been nice if mainstream media had run something(or maybe they did, and I missed it).
Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.

I keep a pretty close eye on football in NZ, as I am a fan and a father of a young player who will be transitioning from youth to men's football next season.
I have seen nothing apart from overseas coverage (i.e. One Football and BBC articles), so assumed we weren't getting footage.
I just downloaded the Uefa.tv app on my iPad and the footage and content is excellent.
Thanks for bringing it to my attention - love a good bit of off-season football.

I assume you can only watch live on the UEFA app and not on demand? If you join during a game can you go back to the start? Was hoping to watch the first England game the other day but logged on about 9am when it would have just finished (7am kickoff) and there was no sign of it and couldn't find it anywhere else. Also tried BBC iplayer as the game was live on there but could only find post-match analysis and not the game so ended up looking up the result. Will try again tomorrow morning.
Edit: I see the games are all on iplayer now so probably if I'd waited a bit longer that day it would have appeared.
Thanks for the headsup. UEFA have gone the whole hog and generated considerable content. At first glance, the web page looks like a FIFA world cup page, so good on them for not skimping on the women's game.
As far as page function goes, it is a bit of a confusing mess. I get errors on the app but not on the page when I load a highlights video. I can't chromecast from the page so ...... I'm skroowed. :-(
I'll try switching it off and on.

was great to see the home team win the UEFA championship this morning, 87,000 fans inside the stadium and I think another 7000 more in trafalgar square, not to mention the tv audience (in the hundreds of millions I believe).

Finally the Lionesses have been able to do what no England team since 1966 have done - win something!
Boy what a team! They really did sweep the opposition away at times. Even in the tougher matches they showed class and skill. Will be great for the women's game in the UK, I would hope.

Well done to the winners. The final was typical tight final-type football - many of the other games were better to watch.
English football is peaking - we've seen the Euro silver medal recently and was it a world cup semi place?
I had near faultless streaming from the site so it was pretty well set up.

I’m looking forward to the woman’s world cup next year (July 20th). I think there is a warmup competition in feb. or somewhere around there.

Why have I only spotted this now? I had been interested in watching some matches, and did the surf through Sky, Youtube, Spark Sport, etc. In the end I never watched a second of the tournament. Shame it wasn't promoted better through the footballing community.
