With one gameweek left, I thought it would be a great time to start a 2025-2026 Premier League and Champions League thread.

Especially seeing as the Arsenal is one win away from erasing 22 years of hurt and pain! And two wins away from immortality!!

London is Red.

I'd really like to see Arsenal take the crown, but I can't help but feel that it'll be super-squeaky-bum time for them come next weekend.
The Champions League win would be nice.

I'd also like to see Villa win the version of the European comp that they are in the final of.

As a Manchester united fan (born and lived ~10 minutes from old trafford) I'd rather see Arsenal win - but only due to the fact that my old man is a Man City fan and I need to stick it to the old fella!

Just realised that a Bournemouth draw or win against City tomorrow is sufficient for the Premier League trophy to head to London N5. Come on you Cherries!

While at the other end of the league .. Southampton have missed out on potentially millions of pounds and promotion to the Prem, because someone thought it was a good idea to send the office intern out to spy on the opposition training sessions...

Oh Southampton I always had sympathy as my closest south English top tier team after I moved to the Isle of Wight but just don't do dumb stuff so obviously!

As a Gooner since the Double in 1998, it is hard to describe how overwhelming the outpouring of joy and unbridled happiness I have felt today. They say good things come to those who wait and so the 22 years since we won the league has made the ups and downs and sheer agony worthwhile. I wish I was in Islington to celebrate because the party looks incredible.

Ive supported Arsenal since I was a wee lad in 1989. Its been hard to have come so close in the early 00's and the last few years. So happy for the team and supporters, well overdue.

Fingers and toes crossed for the double on the 31st

As young fellas, me and my brothers decided we wanted to support English football teams. This is back in the days when TV One used to play the highlights of the "soccer" on Saturday mornings. We all decided that the teams which played in red were obviously the coolest and, in a rare moment of magnanimousness as the eldest, I let my younger brothers pick first. One went for Man U, the second for Liverpool. And, so that's how I came to be an Arsenal supporter all those years ago.

I finally got the chance to visit the Emirates in 2022, though unfortunately not for a match as it was during the off-season I was in London. I wanted to visit Highbury more as I think some of the old ground is still standing and I have a stronger association to it, but didn't have the time. Plenty of great memories and players over the years, including Michael Thomas winning me $700 at the TAB in my one and only foray into sports betting.

So well done to "Captain Black" himself, Mikel Arteta, and the team. I really expected them to choke again with Man City breathing down their necks, after looking imperious earlier in the season. Proudly got the Arsenal scarf out of the drawer and wore it around yesterday.

Will be another challenge entirely against PSG in the Champions League final, but it may just be their year. Go the mighty Gunners!

Great to see Villa win the Europa League final. Cruised to a 3-0 win.
With Champions League next season, they’ll need to restock their playing squad, but it has to be said, Unai Emery has had them punching well above their weight.
