Finally rugby back on the box, the Crusaders vs the Blues on at the mo.

Hopefully the Mighty (and beautiful as they are now commonly known) Chiefs will finally get a title this year.

Anyone else got some super rugby thoughts?

(edit) By the way is there any good andro apps for super rugby scores, results, fixtures etc?

Sorry to disappoint you Ramboss but after last years stolen final the Crusaders have got a chip on their shoulder that only the title can right. I'm willing to give the runner up position to the Chiefs though :-D

I know there are several Super Rugby apps for iOS (some terrible others ok, none really that great), not sure about Android though sorry.

Why do these clowns play rugby 10~ 11 months of the year?? Surely a 6 month season is enough..

Hurricanes did better than I expected, but still don't hold out much hope for them this year.
Always a crazy time of year with home Cricket and Rugby matches on.

Money for one reason, to them it is an occupation as well as sport - so why not? I guess you "work" around 11 months of the year - what's the difference?

I bet they have more free time, travel, hot chicks, flash cars ( and probably more money ) than you - so who is the clown?

Different country, different sports, different competition setups and those sports are only big in the States - no comparison.

Rugby players here play the Super 15 comp, International warm up games pre Tri Nations, then the Tri Nations, NPC and then the Northern Hemisphere tour. Try squeezing that into six months - won't/can't physically happen in an international game and cross seasons between hemispheres.

If you don't like it, simple - don't watch.

It will be a miracle for the Crusaders to win the title this year, they have so many new players, a broken home and will need to travel extensively. I am a MASSIVE Crusaders fan and it hurts to say the chances are the lowest they been for a while. Chiefs have no chance I don't think.

I think Tyler did pretty well to be honest, he needs some distance training, but nothing wrong with his accuracy!

Big call Chiefs no chance? I don't think so. This will be one of their best chances, new coach (last coach wasn't much good) and a stack of great players. Admittedly they have some injury woes at the moment but am sure they will bounce back.
