Regular traveller here but using iOS -no problems either and I get notification of boarding delays, gate changes etc. code share flights like CX and SG are a hit and miss. Sometimes it appears in the AirNZ app, sometimes not and sometimes in between (appears then disappears)

Unfortunately parts of the app are attached to other systems using bandaids so not 100% reliable.

They definitely need to work on getting their systems all talking to each other.

I have "gluten intolerance" selected in the Meal Preference option under the Travel Preferences section of my Air New Zealand profile. When I flew to the US 3 weeks ago, I wasn't given the option of a gluten-free meal. I'm flying back today, so I rang them up yesterday to find out why. Apparently I have to contact them again to specify that I require a gluten-free meal after booking my ticket. So whats the point of specifying it in my profile?

I generally find the AirNZ App very good.  The one issue I have had is with delay alerts for flights.  These can be wrong, so I always check the arrivals departures online.

That does seem particularly bad.  Why even have the ability to specify it in the travel preferences if it is not used.

On a recent trip I was most impressed that the app showed our Air NZ flight followed by the Malaysia Airlines flights and then even the Qantas flight - all booked on one ticket.

Unfortunately soon after we took the Air NZ flight the whole lot vanished from the app.  I can understand why but it is hardly good for customer experience.
