So I booked international flights a while back. Got a few emails from AirNZ telling me the flights had changed. Probably due to scheduling so no problem there.

But if i use my Android App it shows the original flights. If I use my ETicket it shows the new flights. Both connected to my air points number. Wouldn't be a problem except the flight departure times are different!

Are alerts set on in settings? Also does it update if you swipe down on the old flight details?

5 mins difference can mean whether you are on board the plane or not !

Not if the plane is leaving 5 minutes later than scheduled time,

International reporting/checkin time still 2 hours before flight?

My first ever AM radio network connection was with a 1MHz AM crystal(OA91) radio receiver.

Not being a regular traveller, I don't get a lot of use from the AirNZ app
Used it over the weekend however and the only thing it didn't tell me was when I should board the plane as a notification when the app was not open.
This however could be a Android app notification issue - though I don't have any notifications blocked

From experience (using both desktop login, IOS and Android), when the flight details change you are required to accept the changes (using the link AIRNZ email to you). Once accepted they then issue a new E ticket. After the E ticket is issued, you need to refresh the IOS and Android apps and they will update (either auto or manual refresh). ive set my android app to manual update (to save data and not drain my battery in my tired old phone). Could that be your issue?

Edit: my scenario is regarding flight details changing on an international flight I traveled on a few months ago and the departure time moved by 10mins.

So I had a flight to Auckland at x time on the app. Eticket had a different flight at a different time. International flights but first leg domestic so an hour check in at international terminal. Same on return leg. Flight changes accepted in emails. Android App was logged off / logged back on again - no refresh..

I've checked with AIRNZ and will travel on E ticket, not app.

I have experienced similar issues using the android app too. At work a we get all our travel booked through an agent and then I have to manually add the flights to my account using the booking reference. If I add the flight using the app it sometimes doesn't show up if I login through the website, so I have to add it again there. I have had one instance of a flight being delayed and showing on the web login to my airpoints account but not showing in the app (still showing original departure time). Now I only add flights using the website and not the app.

App worked well for me to travel up to football final in Auckland.

Went "ding" on my phone 9pm Friday telling me my flight Saturday am cancelled which allowed me to change to later flight straight away rather than find out the next morning at the airport.

The flight was very full and if I had found out the cancellation on the day I might not have been able to get to the finals.

Coffee ordering function worked well in Wellington Koru..

The app usually works very well but I had a similar problem.

My flights were booked offline and a flight was rescheduled or cancelled or something.  It fell through the cracks at Air NZ and nobody contacted us to change.

The flight showed up on the app but when I looked on the website it wasn't there.  The other three flights on the same ticket were.

Unfortunately parts of the app are attached to other systems using bandaids so not 100% reliable.
