My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

That little kid was giving adult like attitude..... They are awful people, but, I think the media and public are going too far by chasing them around, videoing them, and calling them names.
I'd say their physical safety is at serious risk if they stay here anyway.
This. They are troublesome people, but the amount of fuss about them is really stupidly over the top. Slow news week in NZ.
The sooner they return home the better. Hopefully, they will tell their friends what a horrible place NZ is and those people will stay away too :)
Make sure it’s a ship that’s going to take at least a few months to get there.
What do you have against sailors? Inflicting them for months!

To be honest, Good relief from the continual bashing of the evading police crash stories
They probably came to NZ after doing similar things in Spain, Ibiza, Greece. Ideal candidates for the Jeremy Kyle show.
Slighty off topic but related to these knobs.
Yesterday afternoon when Immigration NZ issued the deportation notice, they were not actually charged or convicted of any crime (they were charged later in the day, and convicted today). And the crime was only a theft of $30-ish from a Caltex station. How is this even remotely enough to revoke their holiday visas?
Sure if you've done a serious crime, rip up their visas, but this is the lowest end of scale.

Have you been following along fully?
Appearing in the media 2 separate other occasions around that single theft. Including public disturbance and tresspassing pretty much screwed their good behavior trust out the window and likely to offend status increase tenfold.

If its the same family that left soiled baby clothes in the overhead lockers late last week and they are returning the same way they came in, then its Cathay Pacific (or at least Air NZ codeshare as far as Hong Kong). Glad I'm not travelling for another 4 weeks right now.
People seemed to link them to last week's incident on the plane but these people have been here for several weeks.
I can't claim this comment, but i saw this on social media
Send them home as deck cargo on a submarine.

The call is about bad character. They are on a good behaviour trust as you say, thats now gone, so fully eligible to deport.
hairy1: The cargo hold is pressurised and heated. Sorry.
@hairy1, Logically thinking the whole point of the plane being a long cylinder is for equal pressure on all surfaces. So yeah, would probably go boom in some strong turbulence if only the upper level was pressurized.

I read 'quoted' that a member of the public called them Gypsies. Apparently the family have denied being Gypsies. That is a really bad slur against the Gypsies (Romany people).
Juvie and adult prisons better start booking a room for the kids because that is where they are headed.
Fabulous English Daily Mail article. don't know how accurate it is knowing the English press but have a read anyway, it is mildly entertaining:
British 'gypsy' family will be DEPORTED from New Zealand after locals say they 'caused destruction across the country, caused mayhem on a flight, tried to cheat restaurants out of money and threatened violence'
Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

Interesting how the UK article seemed to get every last word of bad news about this family

I'm sure I read they arrived on Friday. Cant find that at the moment, apart from that they stayed at the Ibis for 3 days which from the date was Friday
But their exploits are standard it seems in the UK as well
Take that back:
She must pay up $55.20 for the Red Bull, sunglasses and rope she stole from the Caltex at Albany - on December 31 and January 4 - by 4pm. Cash arrived in the country on November 29 on a six-month travelling visa.

Having stayed at the Ibis for one night (and never again!), suddenly their behaviour seems justified. jk!
