For overseas travel as MurrayM had pointed out, I normally have the travel correspondence received via email in my gmail account

I always have a scanned copy of my passport and etickets , hotel bookings on google drive that I delete after my travels.

I carry a photocopy of partner's and my passport scaled down in my wallet.  Beats the hassle of taking out the passports when filling forms on flights as I cant

remember all the details like PP numbers, dates of issue , expiry date etc.

When flying SQ I always have a print out of the boarding pass when I complete online checking.  Seems a waste at times as

they re-issue another boarding card.

neb: I keep a photocopy of my passport, ESTA, and a few other things in my carry-on luggage. With no need to access encrypted online storage with a bazillion possible points of failure I can show anyone an approximation of travel documents if the originals get lost or stolen. In terms of threats... the threat is being caught without travel documents, not someone getting their hands on a crappy photocopy of a passport with no actual value for ID purposes, apart from, in my case, showing that I allegedly had a passport that allegedly looked like that.

I agree and thats pretty much what i recommend. The fancy storage methods are great , but not necessarily for Joe traveller.
