Thanks for the replies given me confidence to use it. We rang up yesterday and asked, impressed was able to speak to an agent within 2 mins.
Agent confirmed it ONLY includes anything that is charged before we depart, as the first reply to this tread said. I think they get asked often as she knew what the question was straight away. Not sure why the policy wording is murky when in reality it seems a lot simpler. Eg pre-paid costs can simply be worded as pre-departure costs?
